Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Psythons (the "Service"), operated by Sandhill Works, LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement. Accounts discovered to belong to users under 13 will be terminated and deleted.
2. Your Account
- One account per person. Do not share accounts or credentials.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password secure.
- Notify us promptly at support@sandhillworks.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Usernames must not impersonate others, infringe trademarks, contain slurs, or be otherwise offensive. We may rename or reclaim usernames at our discretion.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, or automate gameplay in ways not intended by the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or CAPTCHAs.
- Buy, sell, or trade in-game currency, Psythons, or accounts outside the Service for real money or off-platform consideration.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users in messages, trade listings, or any communication channel the Service provides.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or unlawful content.
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, or take any other action we consider necessary to enforce these rules.
4. Game Content and Virtual Items
All game assets, artwork, code, Psython designs, trait systems, and lore are the intellectual property of Sandhill Works, LLC. Virtual items, in-game currency ("Credits"), Psythons, achievements, titles, and dex entries are licensed to you, not sold. They have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and may be modified, reset, or removed as the Service evolves.
5. Premium Subscriptions
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription ("Premium"). By purchasing Premium you agree that:
- Access to Premium features begins immediately upon purchase. You expressly consent to this immediate digital delivery and waive any right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply under EU Directive 2011/83/EU or similar consumer-protection laws.
- All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for Premium subscriptions, in-game purchases, or virtual items, except where required by applicable law.
- We may change Premium pricing or benefits with reasonable notice.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit (usernames, Psython names, messages). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit it as necessary to operate the Service. You are solely responsible for content you submit and represent that you have the rights to do so.
7. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time under Settings → Account. Deletion is permanent and immediate — you will lose access to all Psythons, Credits, and progress. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose security risks, or are inactive for extended periods.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SANDHILL WORKS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sandhill Works, LLC and its officers, members, and affiliates from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms; when we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in-game or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this section deprives consumers of mandatory protections available under the laws of their country of residence.
